The Ark
Church History
The ARK started out as a Friday night bible study group in Pastor Steve and Lori's home. With 6 people at the start it has grown to 12-20 in a very short time.

We began as a group to talk and thought it would be a good idea to start a Sunday Service. By this time the house was getting crowded so we searched and found a suitable place. In September 2019 The ARK New Beginnings Assembly was launched.
​
We currently have between 20-30 people attending. We would love to have you join us... God Is Good.

Who we are:
We are a non-denominational, non-religious Assembly.
​
We are followers of Christ, not a religion.
​
We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God, and the only infallible authority rule of living a life of faith and a life committed to Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16)
​
We believe in one God, who exists as three persons, God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit (John 10:30, John 14:26, John 15:26)
​
We believe in the divine order of Jesus Christ, Virgin birth, His earthy walk, the miracles He performed, His faultless death, the Resurrection, His return to heaven, and His soon return. (1 Timothy 3:16, Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:35-39)

We believe in complete salvation through faith and by the grace of our lord Jesus Christ through repentance and remission of sin and through the complete immersion of baptism by water (Ephesians 2:8, Acts 2:38, Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:35-39)

We believe in the Holy Spirit who Jesus sent as our helper to guide us and to help us walk in a Christian lifestyle and to live a Godly life. (Romans 8:1-2, John 14:16-17, John 14:26, Acts 2:33, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation there of as it operates in the giving of gifts according to Gods divine plan. (Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:6, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11)

We are a non-profit assembly.
We are non denominational. We are not religious we are simply followers of Christ.

Everyone is welcome at the ARK no matter where you are in life, no matter where you have been or done in the past.
​
The word says God is just and willing to forgive and we stand by that.
​
We believe in the forgiveness power through the blood of Christ and when Jesus took your sins and nailed them to that cross. He said it is finished.
​
So if you feel you are beyond salvation...remember Romans 10:13
For who so ever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We at the ARK look forward to working with other denominations in the town and surrounding area, in spreading the good news of the gospel to a world that does not know about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
